Tree Planting Service
We are led by over 20 years of combined tree-planting experience, education, and training – learn more about our process.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources recommends in their Tree Planting & Care Guide that the best time to plant a tree is Early Spring, Late Spring, Early Summer, or Early Fall.
Although you certainly can plant a tree by yourself, we would encourage you to consider the labor, specialized equipment, years of experience, and trusted sourcing that we have to offer.
Yes, water is very important for the tree during it’s establishment period.
We reccomend that you plan to water your tree once per week, during Spring through Fall, for the first two-years.
After we plant the tree, we will include one initial watering service, as well as supply a watering bag that is to be refilled once per week. Ongoing watering services are available for an additional fee.

Yes, we include installation of a carefully selected mulch blend. The mulch installation not only adds to the aesthetic, but also helps retain moisture in the soil, giving the tree the best environment for success during its establishment period.
